    3D Interactive Modeling with Capturing Instruction Interface Based on Area Limitation

    In these days, 3D models are introduced as new digital contents such as video games and data material for 3D printer. The demand of 3D modelling for ordinary people has been increasing. While using existing hand-held 3D modelling system, users have to estimate unmeasured area through a display. Also users have to terminate modelling with watching a process of modelling. Thus, many user operations such as estimating unmeasured spot and moving the hand-held device impose burdens to users. In this paper, we propose a novel modelling system which indicates route guidance by means of area limitation of modelling at the beginning. By area limitation of modelling, users can obtain desired 3D model with watching effective route guide for measuring and automatic termination of modelling. To realize route guide and automatic termination, we propose new method to find unmeasured and measurable spot. Our proposed method can realize 3D modelling with low burden effectively, easily and quickly.
