Mobile devices are quickly becoming the preferred way for consumers to experience computer graphics content, making delivery of great graphics experiences on mobile platforms essential. However, rendering techniques and GPU architectures developed for the desktop often perform poorly in the more limited mobile environment.

In this talk, we will explore how the power and bandwidth constraints of mobile platforms affect the design of mobile GPUs, graphics algorithms, and applications, and how the features of the latest ARM Mali GPUs enable console-level graphics on a mobile-phone-level power budget.
