A Mixed-Reality Showcase for Multiple Users from Unconstrained Viewing Angles

An ideal showcase should allow its viewers not only see the display object clearly, but also obtain sufficient information of the object by static texts or dynamic images. In this work, we proposed a novel mixed-reality showcase that is able to superimpose any virtual images and the real object and hence is able to offer the users lots of information of the real object through virtual images. In addition, we overcome the limitation of the existing solution that our proposed showcase is able to display different virtual images for multiple users with unconstrained viewing angles. We believe that the proposed mixed-reality showcase will have a significant promise for commercial product advertisement and museum exhibitions.
